We have camped here several times this year - love it! Campgrounds are clean, have firepits, picnic tables, and lots of trees! Make sure you hike down to the Guadalupe river and wade out in the shallow water. Beautiful views! All this and only a half hour away from San Antonio!

The state park has plenty of trails and entertainment to offer. Had a great time this past weekend with our family. Haunted trick or treating on the trails was enjoyed by the little ones. Darkness and quietness was appreciated. Wish the Turkey Sink had wider campsites for SUV tents. BE CAREFUL OF THE STAIRS BEHIND THE RESTROOMS AT TURKEY SINK, we had one of our family members trip going down and fractured their ankle in 3 spots. Luckily, her 2 year old daughter escaped without injury in the fall.

My first time here with my young daughter on her first real camping trip. Staff was very friendly and informative. Camp sites were spacious and felt fairly private. We stayed in the Cedar Sage area. However water fountains and showers could use an upgrade in that same area. Discovery Center was fun. Of course we spent most of our time in the river, rafting floating and swimming along with skipping a few river rocks. We were there early in the week which was nice. I could tell the crowd was building towards the weekend. Definitely will return.

Beautiful and impressively maintained. Very friendly staff, who were organized and informative. I would also like to mention that the water is pretty shallow, so it's good for splashing around but not so great for any kind of adult swimming. Tubing is great and if you have a canoe or kayak, bring it. Wear swimming shoes as that the beach and the river bed is a collection of small to large rocks.

Very friendly staff and nice offices. Looks like a nice place to camp. I went there to ride the trails. Trails are challenging and are at an intermediate level to more advance. Almost all rock gardens, little shade.

Some hills, very much fun to ride around on. There is over 10 miles of riding. Also nice is there is access to the rest rooms and getting water. There is also a nice place to go in the river and cool off.
