My experience here was amazing! The vet and her helper really took the time to find out what was making my sweet Cheyenne all itchy. They really knew how to make my dog comfortable while she was being examined. They asked thorough questions to get down to the root of the problem. I could really tell they care about pets and their well being. I was very pleased with this vet and would absolutely recommend them to anyone!
While I understand the mistake with the medication, to turn a sick dg away for being six minutes late is absurd. It goes to show it's all about the money with these people. They had been taking care of our dog since he was six weeks old.
Extremely professional, friendly and clean veterinary practice. Dr.s Hughes and Baas are capable, gentle and meticulous in diagnosing and treating my animals. They genuinely care for each animal and have the pet's best interest in the forefront of the decisions they make. The treatment rooms and kennels are IMMACULATE and organized. The staff of office personnel and vet technicians are always pleasant and helpful. The veterinary practice is also very community oriented and supportive of shelter's in the area. Dr.s Hughes and Baas also were generous with their time and skills helping with rescue animals displaced by the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. I highly recommend this veterinary practice because of the level of care they provide both within the practice and throughout the community.
This place is phenomenal!! The Doctors are literally the best and the staff are loving and compassionate as well as knowledgable. I would never take my dog anywhere else!!!
We've got, well...more than a couple of dogs...our children...better behaved than most...but that's another conversation. There's a loving and caring feel to this place. And I've always felt that the advice and treatment has always come from the heart..like they were taking care of there own pet. We've been down some very tough roads with our babies, and we've felt grateful to have this group of skilled, caring, professional, pet lovers there by our side. SBVH is the best in this whole area by a long shot. Thank all of you for what you've done for our family.
I would not recommend these people in the least. We had an emergency appointment with them that we were six minutes late for and was told that they could not see my dog. I kindly explained to the tech that I was very sorry and that my water heater had gone out that morning and I was six minutes late due to the dealing with the plumber.
in addition to that, the last time we were in they prescribed our dog antibiotics and instructed us to give him double the dose they were supposed to.
