It's a very quiet place and secluded. The river is with in easy walking distance. It's never crowded and the RV spaces are spread out so you have more room.
I'm writing this from the camp ground at 1:47 in the morning. I'm in a tent listening to the new "neighbors" setting up camp and yelling at their kids. They had told us at check in that anyone checking in after 8:00pm would have to pay a fee. She had told us she even had to come in at 2:00 am to let someone in. She didn't bother to tell us that they were coming in right next to us. There is a large party on the hill singing and yelling so loud I can hear their yells over the running cars next to us. I'm used to camping with my two scout sons and we always leave our sites better than when we found it. We will do that again here but I am amazed at the amount of trash on the ground. The river is pretty here and they do have a large wood table and fire pit. The managers are quirky but nice. Just annoyed at the singing on the hill and them letting someone in at 1 something in the morning. I did talk to them in the morning and they did move us to a new site. The girls complained there was never any toilet paper in the bathroom any of the days we were there. Besides all of this we did have fun.
Clean, quiet peaceful. Great staff. Easy access to water n restaurants n groceries.
Most people live here. Although it is nice off the river. It's quiet. The deposits for people who stay monthly are ridiculous. More rules than I have ever seen. For instance deposits if you smoke, pets, the list goes on. But then they recycle.Which is good but if you choose not to then they can charge you. Staff...ok to deal with. Shawna is the best. Very quirky for the rest to say the least. Does have police patrol. Safe and if you are stopping for a while it is great. We travel the road for work our 5th wheel is our home.
Worse RV park ever. The management reeks of whiskey and cigarettes. If you live here, your kids can not have friends over to hang out with or you have to pay for them to come over and if you don't, you get an eviction notice and told to evict immediately which is not legal. Pretty much get evicted if the wind blows wrong and they think its your fault! Most unprofessionally ran RV I have ever been too and staff are idiots. Washers are always broke, and there's only two washers and two dryers for the whole park. Pot holes all over the place. The camp grounds are crowded with trashy, dope heads most of the time. There is a reason this RV park is the ONLY RV park within 100 miles that always has openings for monthly, or weekly spots and there is a reason! Owner has a pit that he takes to the office and lets roam around and has already attacked 3 people, pulled one lady off of her motor cycle and was told that when they leave the park on the their bikes they need to give notice to the front office. Lived there for 8 months and it was hell!
