This is my little hideaway. I have lived here for 7 months and since the new owner came on there has been alot of improvement done around here. The management team is great and the owner is getting the park right.
This is a packed rv place. This would be my last pick. The police are always there for one reason or another.
Now let me clarify that I used to primitive camp here about a year ago, when the new owner came on he started cleaning things up and getting the park right. Now it don't matter what RV park a person goes to or where a person goes in life for that matter, you will always run into knuckle heads that have nothing alas better to do than mess with other people. Management and the owner are getting things right for this place and believe they have a vision for what they want this place to be. Thank you guys for having me and my wife.
We rented out a camp site and stayed in tents over night. The area was very peaceful, staff was always asking if they could give us any assistance, and had a real great time over there. Nothing fancy, but a great spot for kayaking and camping
Nosy, judgmental management. It's a tiny park upriver from the Canyon Lake Dam so it's quiet and pretty but not really worth the hassle and too pricey.
Overall experience was alright until check out. After i helped the people move out and visually inspected the cabin we turned the key in to the office drop. Now after i went back to retrieve my $300 deposit on the cabin back, they are saying that the futon is gone. I went in with the owner and sure enough it had been stolen after we had left cabin 2. The problem is that all the locks on the cabins are not set right and can easily be jimmied with a credit card, spatula or anything really. So they are giving me back only $165 of my deposit, now the coffee pot did accidentally break however the futon was there when we left. I don't mind paying for the $15 coffee pot, however buying them a new futon to replace the one that was there when we left is absurd. The location is great, the cabins need new flooring from previous sewer leaks within them, and your family and your property are not safe due to non functioning security cameras and improper door locks with no dead bolts.
